Went to Granite-Con!
It was a pretty small con, but turned out to be a surprising amount of fun! They even had a Fix-It Felix Machine (which doesn't get more awesome). After meeting Richard Horvitz, I did a little bit of a tribute:

Run Cycle!
Redesign lowered down to 6 frames; original run cycle was 18 and was a little too smooth-- looked like she was rollarblading.
The torso and head are animated separately; the missing arms are also a separate object to hold guns.
Severed legs bonus sprite sheet:

Chuggin' Away with Sprites & Textures
Making 4-sided repeatable patterns for a mobile game - here's the offspring of a little bit of fun hue-swatchin' downtime :
I deem it Mithril Ore.
Also blahblah usual crappy doodles-- but wait! There is a decent boid. Lookit the boid.
So smug.

More mamminals
I made some sort of jackle-lope conglomeration-- and a rather depressed Mickey.
(This page just didn't want to scan correctly; may touch up)

Kitties
Our homework was to draw mammals, and since I already drew some rabbits.. Have a barrage of felines!

Happy Button!
I made a button today. It was a pretty fun experience.
Taken via potato. Currently adorning my backpack.
I also scribbled some bunnies! It was a slow day.

Googie Eye Mouse Bot [Colour Scheme]
Wanted to be a bit silly (and also play with photoshop). Mission accomplished.
Edit: Huh! Depending on your moniter, you may or may not see the bubble-border as completely white. It has a little bit of a cross-hatch pattern to it.

More Robots!
My robot proposal (we have to choose one for modeling) shall be one of the mouse-resembling ones, I believe (vs. the previous batch of robos)-- simply due to the sheer factor it's just intricate enough to still be semi-adorable.
Bonus - Making significant progress on the Machine Gun Magical Girl redesign!

Creepypasta Time
Thought I'd go with a sort of different style than usual-- just to get a bit of a push in the creepy direction--Robots and Aliens on the mind.
Also, I'm learning Blender!
And here's (really quick) downtime while painting unwrap textures:
(I'm probably going to remove this, it just happens to be briefly amusing)

Slow Day
Not much in the interesting department-- Have some Adventure Time.
(Might colour this to show the ground-trail of fire)

Boston FIG was pretty packed this year
Drew whilst in the car in near-pitch black darkness (because New Hampshire doesn't believe in street lights) on a borrowed sketchpad after a day well spent in Boston for the Festival of Indie Games. Redesigns on the mind for a certain 2D magical girl.

Church Buddies
Oh man, where did the day go? Have a couple webcomic ladies!
Side note- Elena managed to get a job doing official Adventure Time artwork based purely off her fanart! If that doesn't garner hope, I don't know what does.

Side note: David Willis does so many different comics-- he has his own universe's DC-reboot goin' on. It's awesome.

Drew whatever came to mind with no reference -- aside from the sickle which was briefly onscreen in google hangouts.
The sickle is a product of an "Immersive Weapon" Skyrim Mod. Credit where credit is due!
And just for a little something else, a quick comic concept sketch:

Dumm Comics
Just a few friendly faces off the webcomic shelf! All characters belong to their respective creators.
(Oh man, did you know Katie was on Penny Arcade's Strip Search and is starting another comic? Cool stuff.)

Bubble Blob
It was mentioned earlier in the Game-Lab today that sketchbook pro had an android version, and I opted to test it out on my kindle fire-- it kept crashing because I have shoddy luck, of course [Sketchbook Mobile Express]. However, I still wanted to try drawing with my finger instead of stylus, so I tried the next best thing: after updating the driver to my intuos touch tablet I decided the best method of doing so was to work on a single layer in photoshop for a drawing I had previously scanned. The resulting doodle is messy at best, but it was a fun testing experience:
